COVERiT NovoProof®

DA-P

EPDM sheet

Fewer seams to weld on site.

Bad weather? No problem! An invaluable advantage of the COVERiT NovoProof® DA-P sheet is its great freedom of installation! Almost regardless of weather or temperatures, the sheet can be laid out at nearly any time. This is because the COVERiT NovoProof® DA-P sheet is extremely flexible from −40 °C to +120 °C, and ThermoFast® joining technology enables reliable welding of the sheet seams even at low outside temperatures.

Laying methods

  • With ballast

The specified gravel, green roof or trafficable layer secures the loose-laid sheet.

  • Loose-laid

The waterproofing is laid loose; the seams are joined with ThermoFast®.

Installation steps

  • Lay in one piece As a large-area waterproofing layer, the COVERiT NovoProof® DA-P sheet is laid loose in one piece.
  • Close seams and connections Position the sheet and close the remaining seams and connections. Arrange support for the first installation if needed.
  • Secure with ballast With ballast, the roof covering is secured against wind uplift immediately after laying.

Carry out trial welds first and inspect the finished area. Hot-gas weld ThermoFast® seams, weldable under site conditions down to approx. −10 °C. Also for green roofs with photovoltaic systems.

The DA / DA-P product data sheet, July 2025, describes the material as flexible from −40 °C to +120 °C. This material property does not specify permissible installation temperatures. Joining remains subject to the installation instructions and required trial welds.
